NERDS!

Dave and I started watching the vlogbrothers recently. We're starting back in 2007 from the very beginning (white simultaneously keeping up with current vlogs) and we're having a lot of fun. We're nerdfighters -- through & through.

But it got me thinking about what kind of nerd I was.

I asked Dave what kind of nerd I was and he couldn't answer.

I've been asked this question before and I couldn't answer.

I've thought about it a lot. I'm not a writing nerd. I'm not a book nerd. I'm definitely not an anime nerd. I like a lot of nerdy things, but none of them define me. I'm not super great at anything other than being myself.

It's funny, because I told my sister I was watching Battlestar Galactica and she called me a nerd, but when she looked at the description of myself on this blog, she said, "I don't think you're a nerd."

I asked my mom today, "What kind of nerd am I?"

She told me that I'm not a nerd, but I like them. I'm a nerd groupie!

I can't believe it.

Of all the different things I could be excited about, it's nerds. And she's right!
